Summary

Join Essex Home Hardware as a Full Time Rentals Associate, assist in managing the department as well as the upkeep and maintenance on Rental equipment. Keep department running smoothly by assisting in training recent staff, weekly orders, keeping accurate inventory and supplies and all other department responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers with rental inquiries and product selection.
- Explain rental options and provide product demonstrations when appropriate.
- Process rental transactions correctly - when issuing contracts use the appropriate programs and proper paperwork protocols.
- Keep rental equipment in working order, organized and presentable.
- Build and/or repair screen and glass windows and doors.




- Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers to support a smooth rental experience.
- Assist in building bbq's, patio furniture and store displays.
- Assist with carry-outs, store front maintenance and covering surrounding areas.
- Participate in all mandatory training opportunities and team building activities.

Qualifications

- Must be able to do basic maintenance and repair on Rental equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Retail sales experience and an organized approach to work.
- Ability to manage time and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Familiarity with POS systems

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week

Experience:
