Job Overview

- We are seeking a skilled Hairstylist with at least four years of professional experience to provide high-quality hair services and create a welcoming, polished experience for every client.

- The ideal candidate combines strong technical ability with excellent customer service, clear communication, and a skilled approach to salon operations.

- This role includes opportunities to build lasting client relationships, recommend suitable services and products, and contribute to a clean, organized salon.

Duties

- Consult with clients to understand their preferences, hair goals, and service needs.

- Perform haircuts, blowouts, styling, and other services within your training and expertise.

- Recommend appropriate styles, treatments, and at-home products based on each client’s needs.

- Deliver attentive, friendly customer service throughout the appointment, from greeting clients to confirming their satisfaction.

- Support retail sales and appropriate upselling by explaining relevant products and additional services without pressuring clients.

- Assist with front desk tasks as needed, such as welcoming clients, coordinating appointments,



and maintaining an orderly client flow.

- Maintain clean workstations and tools, and follow salon sanitation and safety procedures.

- Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers, and help keep the salon environment organized and welcoming.

Qualifications

- At least four years of professional hairstyling experience.

- Strong hair styling skills and the ability to understand and respond to a range of client requests.

- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear service recommendations.

- A client-focused attitude and demonstrated customer service ability.

- Comfort with product recommendations, retail sales, and appropriate upselling.

- Willingness to assist with front desk duties when needed.

- Consistent attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and professional standards.

Pay: $20.00-$44.65 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
