WE’RE HIRING – SNOW REMOVAL TEAM MEMBER / DRIVER

Valid driver’s licence required | $20–$25 per hour | Calgary, AB

Enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a crew that works hard and has fun along the way?

Black Mountain Landscape Ltd. is looking for a dependable Snow Removal Team Member to join our crew! We’re a small, young, growing company with a friendly, personal approach. You’ll work directly with the owner and a close team where everyone knows your name, your ideas matter, and your hard work gets noticed.

We care for residential and small commercial properties in SW Calgary and Elbow Valley, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing a excellent job.

Job Duties

- Clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, walkways, and entrances.
- Operate snowblowers, backpack blowers, shovels, and other equipment.
- Apply ice melt as directed.
- Drive company trucks safely between properties.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment.
- Keep trucks, equipment, and the shop clean and organized.
- Work alongside the crew to leave every property looking its best.
- Help with ice checks and general property maintenance as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
- A valid driver’s licence is required—you must be able to drive a company truck.
- Reliable transportation to our SW Calgary shop.
- Availability for early starts, typically around 4:00 a.m.
- Flexibility to work when snow arrives, including weekends and holidays.
- A dependable, punctual person with a positive attitude.

- Someone who enjoys teamwork and doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty.
- Comfort working outdoors in winter conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Snow removal or equipment experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person.

Schedule & Communication: This is an on-call, weather-dependent position. We keep the crew informed about expected snowfall during the week ahead and provide an update the day before forecast snowfall so you can prepare for work.

Hours vary depending on the weather, and 40 hours per week are not guaranteed.

What We Offer

- $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.
- A fun, friendly crew and a supportive working environment.
- Hands-on training and opportunities to learn new equipment and skills.
- The chance to grow with a small company and take on more responsibility.
- Opportunity to continue working with us through spring and summer, helping with lawn mowing, garden maintenance, and seasonal cleanups.

If you’re reliable, hardworking, and looking for a team you can feel part of, we’d love to hear from you! Apply through Indeed or email [email protected] with your resume, experience, and availability. Please confirm that you have a valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation, and availability for 4:00 a.m. starts.
