Job Title: Line Cook / Station Chef (French Culinary Support)

Location: Rosedale, Toronto, ON

Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour + Tip Share (commensurate with experience)

Caren’s is an intimate, chic French bistro and dining room located in the heart of Rosedale. We pride ourselves on classic and contemporary French culinary techniques, refined presentations, and exceptional guest hospitality.

Position Overview:

We are looking for dedicated, detail-oriented Line Cooks / Station Chefs to support our Head Chef in delivering high-caliber French cuisine in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare stations with required mise-en-place prior to service following strict standardized recipes.




- Cook and plate classic French dishes precisely according to standard procedures during service.
- Maintain station cleanliness, organization, stock rotation (FIFO), and proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and synchronized ticket times.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 1–2+ years of experience as a Line Cook in an upscale, scratch-cooking, or high-volume restaurant.
- Basic familiarity with French cooking methods, sauce preparations, and plating.
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and calmly under pressure.
- Valid Food Handler Certificate.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
