RS Recruitment & Training is assisting a long‑established procurement and distribution organisation to recruit a MARKETING & TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT COORDINATOR, to be based at their operations in Durban. Remuneration: R15 000 – R20 000 per month (depending on experience).

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Purpose The Marketing & Technology Support Coordinator will provide front‑line marketing support while managing and maintaining the digital systems that underpin the company’s operations. The successful candidate will create marketing content, support digital communication, update websites, manage CRM systems, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and assist with workflow automation. This hybrid role is marketing‑led, with technical capability as a crucial secondary skill.

Duties & Responsibilities – but not limited to:

Marketing Support (Primary Focus)

- Create, edit, and publish marketing content (copywriting, social media posts, simple graphics).
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns and brand communication.
- Manage and update website content.
- Coordinate marketing materials, brochures, and client‑facing documents.
- Support lead‑generation activities and CRM‑based workflows.
- Assist with basic analytics and reporting (Google Analytics, dashboards).
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.

Technical Support (Secondary but Essential)

- Manage and maintain CRM systems.




- Troubleshoot basic technical issues and workflow errors.
- Support automation tools and digital workflows.
- Assist with data management, imports/exports, and system clean‑ups.
- Update and maintain digital platforms (website, portals, internal systems).
- Provide first‑line tech support to the team when needed.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to MD.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Applicants Should Have/Be the Following:

- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, IT, or similar.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a marketing/technology hybrid role (advantageous).
- Strong communication and writing ability.
- Basic design skills (Canva or similar).
- Positive general IT literacy.

Technical Skills

- Ability to update and maintain website content (WordPress/Wix or similar).
- Comfortable working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues (email setups, integrations, workflow errors).
- Experience with automation tools, integrations, or workflow systems (advantageous).
- Strong data management skills (imports/exports, clean‑ups).

Marketing Skills

- Basic content creation and copywriting.
- Social media posting and digital marketing support.
- Coordinating marketing materials and client‑facing documents.
- Supporting CRM‑based marketing workflows and basic reporting.
- Understanding of digital marketing principles.

Package & Remuneration

Remuneration

R15 000 – R20 000 per month, depending on ability and experience.
