Underwriter performs in a technical capacity, participates in quality reviews, problem solving, and other discussions, with appropriate input for solution-oriented goals. analysis process within eligibility guidelines, and decisions* Work is within set parameters of quality and production standards, as applicable, and within agreed upon Service Level Agreements and regulations* Assesses accuracy of data, considers alternative options, and prepares recommendations on referral files within their authority* Reviews, underwrites, and prepares new business, endorsements, and renewals within guidelines for position Qualification Enrolled in CIP or actively pursuing designation.

3-5 years of Underwriting experience required* Experience in the non-standard auto market as well as experience in a broker office would be an asset* Knowledge of the Alberta regional insurance market and the broker within the market is considered an asset* Strong negotiation skills, customer service skills and the ability and willingness to learn* Robust attention to details* Ability to collaborate with peers and subordinates to reach goals as well as the ability to work well independently* Experience using Guidewire would be an asset Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
