HealthOPM is recruiting a Occupational Therapist for a potential temporary or contract assignment with Positive Samaritan at a seniors’ care facility in Salmon Arm, BC. This opportunity supports resident care and quality of life. Accommodation may be available, depending on assignment arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ daily living abilities, functional needs and safety.
- Develop individualized interventions to support independence and participation.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies for safe daily activities.
- Collaborate with care teams and maintain clinical documentation.
Requirements
- Recognized Occupational Therapy qualification and current authorization to practise in BC.
- Seniors’ care,
long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
- Previous Good Samaritan experience is an asset.
