Perform mining tire service in Sudbury with Kal Tire, using strong mechanical aptitude and safety practices. Work 14/14 rotations with 12-hour days.
As an OTR Tire Technician or Trainee, you will service and repair mining equipment tires while meeting Kal Tire safety and service standards. Full onboarding training supports candidates without prior OTR experience. The work helps maintain operational uptime and service excellence on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mount, dismount, balance, and repair mining tires
- Inspect tires against safety and performance standards
- Operate manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks
- Support site maintenance teams and operations
- Maintain clean, organized, safe work areas
Requirements:
- Prior tire technician experience preferred
- Mining industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation ability
- Physical ability to handle heavy materials safely
- Valid driver’s licence and required screening completion
