Job Overview

- We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Church Cleaner to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe setting for congregants, staff, and visitors.

- The role involves routine cleaning and light facilities maintenance throughout the church, including worship areas, offices, restrooms, and shared spaces.

- Part-time 5 hours max per week every Tuesday starting 9:30 am

- Prior church or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

- Must have own vehicle

Duties

- Clean and sanitize floors, surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and frequently touched areas.

- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and empty waste and recycling bins.

- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies, and report low inventory.

- Keep entrances, hallways, meeting rooms, and worship spaces tidy and ready for use.

- Follow safe procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.

- Identify and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or damage to the appropriate staff member.





- Perform light maintenance tasks as assigned and help keep cleaning equipment and storage areas organized.

Skills

- Experience with cleaning in a church, office, or other shared facility is an asset.

- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices, products, and equipment is preferred.

- Basic facilities maintenance awareness and the ability to recognize issues that need attention.

- Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail.

- Able to work independently, follow instructions, and manage routine tasks responsibly.

- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing light lifting as needed for cleaning duties.

- Respectful of the church community, its spaces, and the privacy of those who use the facility.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 5.0 per week
