Sound Insurance Services Inc. is looking for an experienced, RIBO Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will handle a combination of current business sales and existing client renewals, including quoting and binding home and auto insurance policies for brokerage-provided leads and remarketing existing clients' policies to ensure competitive pricing and strong client retention.

We are looking for someone who is experienced, organized, confident in handling clients independently and committed to providing excellent customer service.

This is a 100% in-office position at our Brampton location. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

Key Responsibilities

New Business

- Quote and bind home and auto insurance policies for brokerage-provided leads.
- Assess client insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage.
- Compare quotations from multiple insurance companies.
- Follow up with prospective clients and convert inquiries into new business.
- Prepare and submit new business applications and binding requests.

Renewals & Client Retention

- Review existing clients' renewal policies and identify remarketing opportunities.
- Obtain competitive quotes from alternative insurance companies.
- Contact clients to discuss renewal options, coverage changes and potential savings.
- Follow up with existing clients to maintain strong relationships and improve retention.
- Process renewal-related policy changes and replacements.

Account Management

- Maintain accurate client records,



notes and activities in Applied EPIC.
- Communicate with underwriters regarding quotations, approvals and policy changes.
- Follow up on pending quotations, renewals and outstanding requests.
- Provide professional and timely customer service.
- Ensure compliance with RIBO regulations and brokerage procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RIBO licence in positive standing – mandatory.
- Minimum 1 years of personal lines insurance brokerage experience – required.
- Proven experience quoting and binding Ontario home and auto insurance policies.
- Experience with renewal remarketing and client retention.
- Solid knowledge of Ontario personal insurance markets, coverages and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience using insurance company portals and rating software.
- Experience with Applied EPIC is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Must be able to work full-time from our Brampton office.
