Job Overview

We’re seeking a reliable Prep Cook/Dishwasher to help keep kitchen operations running smoothly. This hands-on role supports meal preparation and cooking while maintaining clean, organized work areas and ensuring dishes and equipment are ready for service. The position is a good fit for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced food service setting.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and kitchen instructions.
- Support cooking tasks and help keep food service moving during busy periods.
- Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain clean and orderly kitchen, dishwashing, and food-preparation areas.
- Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper storage and sanitation.
- Restock supplies and communicate when ingredients or cleaning materials are running low.




- Assist with serving or other kitchen tasks as needed.

Requirements

- Interest in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen work.
- Food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or experience in the food industry is helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and food safety practices is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and work cooperatively with a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen and perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Dependable attendance and a professional, respectful approach to coworkers and guests.

Pay: $18.25-$24.65 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
