As Principal

Pharmacist for Infection Management, you will develop infection management services and guide multidisciplinary teams. The role covers safe, effective, and cost-effective medicine use, infection prevention, and compliance with national and local guidelines. You will work to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s Core Advanced Pharmacist Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and develop infection management services across the Trust Advise multidisciplinary teams on appropriate antimicrobial use Support infection prevention and control initiatives Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to designated areas Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and research Requirements: Pharmacist experience in infection management and pharmaceutical care Ability to provide expert clinical and service information Ability to support operational service development and strategic planning Commitment to national and local medicines guidelines Ability to work to the RPS Core Advanced Pharmacist Curriculum Bring infection management, antimicrobial stewardship, and clinical pharmacy leadership to the Trust’s multidisciplinary services.
