This experienced Litigation Counsel role manages diverse disputes, including Commercial General Liability matters, while working closely with the General Counsel. You will provide practical guidance on litigation risks, resolution strategies, and case management. The position welcomes candidates from wide-ranging litigation backgrounds and practice areas.
Key Responsibilities
Manage broad litigation matters, including Commercial General Liability cases
Provide strategic advice on risks, disputes, and resolution strategies
Collaborate with the General Counsel on litigation strategy
Assess legal matters independently and recommend practical solutions
Address challenges while communicating with key stakeholders
Requirements
Six or more years of relevant litigation experience
Experience handling diverse litigation matters, including CGL matters
Law degree and Canadian authorization to practice law
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
Effectiveness with senior legal leadership and stakeholders
Bring broad litigation experience, strategic judgment, and practical risk guidance to Axiom’s remote Canadian counsel assignment.
