Job Summary

- Provide attentive, welcoming service to guests in a restaurant setting, helping create a positive and memorable dining experience.

- Take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure food and beverages are delivered promptly and correctly.

- Maintain a clean, organized service area and follow food safety and sanitation standards throughout each shift.

Duties

- Greet guests, guide them through the menu, and provide friendly, professional customer service and guest services.

- Take and enter orders using a POS system;

experience with Micros POS is helpful.

- Serve food and beverages, check in with guests, and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

- Make menu recommendations and use appropriate upselling techniques.

- Coordinate with kitchen staff on order timing, special requests, and food allergies.

- Follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures, including keeping tables and service stations clean.

- Support food preparation or other service-area tasks as needed.





- Process guest payments and receipts accurately, using cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills.

- Manage multiple tables and tasks with strong time management, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

- Follow restaurant procedures and contribute to a welcoming hospitality environment.

Experience

- Previous serving, food service, restaurant, or food industry experience is preferred.

- Customer service or hospitality experience is an asset.

- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred; Micros POS experience is a plus.

- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, sanitation, or food preparation is beneficial.

- Kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

- Ability to communicate clearly, work well with a team, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.

- Comfort with math, basic math, and accurate cash handling is required.

Pay: $2,500.00-$3,000.00 per month
