No need to worry if you don’t have experience selling maternity wear, if you are coachable, we will teach you. You will learn about the brands we carry, how our denim fits, how to fit a nursing bra and what the trending and must have gifts are for mom to be.
Responsibilities
- Process purchases and returns using the point-of-sale (POS) system; handle cash and complete cashiering tasks accurately.
- Warmly welcome customers, learn about their needs, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Maintain product displays, restock merchandise, and support visual merchandising to keep the boutique organized and inviting.
- Assist with marketing activities such as preparing promotional materials, coordinating product features, and supporting in-store events.
- Help create and organize content that showcases products and the boutique’s brand across appropriate marketing channels.
- Interest or experience in merchandising and marketing coordination is an advantage.
· Add inventory into point-of-sale system, price and tag items · Steam, fold, hang and organize merchandise to be displayed on sales floor
· Mop and vacuum before closing, dust as needed
· Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists
· Ensure backroom is cleaned and organized
· Remove garbage and recycling as needed
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Proven ability to work with customers in a courteous, positive, and respectful manner
· Proven decision-making skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both alone and with team members
· Arrive to work on time and executes tasks in a timely manner
· Capable of building relationships with clients and educating on products
At a minimum this part-time position is required to be in the store two days per week and a Weekend shift is Mandatory. We are flexible and generous with time off, bonuses and a great staff discount. Our hours are currently 11am to 6pm.
