Our banking client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (10+ years of experience) to lead strategic change initiatives using Capital Markets Operations and Derivatives & FX Services processes -42228

Join a global-scale transformation initiative supporting Equity, Interest Rate, FX Derivatives, and Money Market products across Global Wholesale Operations. This role focuses on driving operational change, governance, risk management, and process improvements across Technology, Operations, Front Office, and support functions. The position offers exposure to enterprise initiatives within a dynamic cross-functional workplace and includes a hybrid work arrangement with potential extension opportunities.

Location: Toronto - Hybrid - 3 days in office

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of extension)

Must Haves

- 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Strong Capital Markets product, operational, and market infrastructure knowledge.
- Knowledge of derivatives, FX, money market, and transaction lifecycle processes.




- Ability to build effective partnerships across Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk
- Strong focus on risk management, controls, regulatory compliance, and data quality.

Nice to Have

- Data analytics and data mining
- Hands-on experience with Copilot or similar AI tools

Responsibilities

Drive the Derivatives & FX Services strategy through delivery governance and control execution

Lead business and operational change initiatives from scoping through implementation

Manage project portfolios including plans, dependencies, risks, budgets, and stakeholder alignment

Deliver operational improvements that increase efficiency, effectiveness, and control outcomes

Ensure business and operational readiness through communications, training, process updates, and transition planning

Strengthen operational resilience by identifying, escalating, and remediating control gaps and risk issues

Apply risk management and regulatory compliance practices in day-to-day decision-making
