As a Specialist, Risk Control, you will support national loss prevention services for farm industry and energy specialty risks. The work draws on property risk control, fire protection codes, consequence risk modelling, and loss estimation. You will collaborate with underwriting, marketing, claims, and national loss prevention teams while supporting service improvements and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead departmental standards and guidelines development and implementation
Deliver loss prevention consultations and tailored service plans
Support underwriting, marketing, and claims teams
Review internal risk assessment reports for quality
Share knowledge through assessments and training seminars
Requirements
At least ten years of progressive Property and Casualty insurance experience
Energy-sector property risk control knowledge and experience
Excellent knowledge of Fire Protection and Building Codes
Experience with consequence risk modelling and loss estimations
Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
Use energy risk control, analytical judgment, and loss prevention expertise to strengthen Intact’s client service and standards.
