Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Service Team Member for the closing shift. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience while supporting food preparation, order service, and end-of-shift cleaning. This position is a good fit for someone who works well in a quick-paced environment, communicates courteously, and takes pride in keeping service and work areas clean and organized.

Duties

- Greet guests, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit.
- Take orders and process transactions using a POS system; experience with Micros POS is helpful.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, provide change when needed, and follow cash handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation and serving, following recipes, portion guidelines, and safe food handling practices.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in dining, service, and kitchen areas.
- Support closing tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and preparing the work area for the next shift.




- Use upselling techniques appropriately by sharing relevant menu options and additions with guests.
- Work with teammates to keep orders accurate and service moving efficiently.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills and a friendly, service-oriented approach.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy periods and closing duties.
- Comfort with basic math and math skills for order accuracy, transactions, and making change.
- Familiarity with cashiering, cash handling, and POS systems; Micros POS experience is a plus.
- Food service experience, restaurant experience, or experience in the food industry is preferred.
- Kitchen experience, food preparation, or serving experience is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to learn and consistently follow food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute positively as part of a team.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
