This experienced Estimation Manager leads the Estimation department for commercial and utility-scale solar projects in Canada and the United States. You will guide cost models, pricing strategy, supplier sourcing, and bid development. The position partners with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, develop, and manage the estimation team

Oversee solar mounting system and foundation cost estimates

Develop cost models and competitive pricing strategies

Evaluate supplier quotations and lead commercial negotiations

Coordinate complete, compliant bids and proposal submissions





Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, construction, business, or related field

Five to eight years’ progressive estimating or bid management experience

Direct leadership experience with estimating or procurement teams

Knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, structural steel, foundations, and construction methods

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for cost modelling and quotation analysis
