The Plant Manager supports Messer’s Spec Gas production facility and its compliance with internal requirements and government regulations. This leadership role builds high-performance teams focused on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer needs.

Responsibilities span production, distribution, maintenance, training, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities: Lead safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations

Coordinate production, filling, maintenance, and cylinder distribution

Schedule production and monitor shipments, supplies, and cycle times

Coach employees and develop technical and safety capabilities





Prepare budgets and improve production and maintenance expenses

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, science, or engineering

Ten years’ management experience in compressed gas or petrochemical industry

Three years’ supervisory experience in a unionized workplace preferred

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency

Knowledge of dangerous goods logistics and gas blending processes
