Overview
We are seeking a patient, supportive Teaching assistant to help junior high school students after school. Such candidate should have a good mastery of English, math, science and knowledge of recreational activities that can help occupy the students.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, tutoring, or similar setting is preferred.
- Classroom experience and familiarity with teaching or instructional support are helpful.
- Interest or experience in early childhood education is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is valued; a willingness to learn inclusive support practices is essential.
- Solid communication skills, patience, reliability, and a collaborative approach.
- Comfort assisting students with basic math and other classroom learning activities.
Pay: $18.00-$18.04 per hour
