Job Summary

- We are seeking a dependable Truck Driver – Class 1 to transport freight safely and efficiently. The role involves operating commercial vehicles, completing pre- and post-trip checks. Perference will be given to those with hands on experience operating heavy equipment(eg. excavators, loaders, dozers)

- 10 years experience low-bed and step deck

- Clean driving abstract

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 trucks over short and long distances adhering to traffic laws, safety procedures, and applicable transportation regulations.

- Transport and deliver freight according to assigned routes, schedules, and handling instructions.

- Inspect the vehicle before and after trips; report defects and arrange maintenance as needed.

- Perform basic repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure vehicle readiness





- Follow safe procedures when working around loading docks, freight, and heavy equipment.

- Keep the vehicle and work area clean and report incidents, delays, or equipment concerns promptly.

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s licence and a driving record that meets applicable requirements.

- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and protected material handling is an advantage.

- Basic knowledge of automotive repair and vehicle maintenance is helpful.

- Strong safety awareness, reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Pay: $44.00-$50.00 per hour
