The work requires interpreting WPS documents, engineering drawings, and blueprints. You will select processes for materials, thicknesses, and project specifications while meeting welding codes, quality standards, and tolerances.Key Responsibilities:
Weld vessels and exchangers using specified welding processesInterpret WPS documents, welding symbols, and project blueprintsPrepare, measure, fit, and assemble componentsDocument welding parameters and inspect weld qualityCollaborate with engineers, supervisors, and stakeholdersRequirements:
Certified B-Pressure Welder, including relevant ABSA certificationAt least two years’ spooling or vessel welding experienceExperience welding in high-pressure environmentsKnowledge of welding equipment, codes, and standardsRequired safety tickets and pre-employment testingBring B-Pressure welding, blueprint interpretation, and safety expertise to Startec Thermal and Process vessel fabrication in Calgary.
