Our Recreation Department is looking for a dedicated Guest Services Representative to join the team. Position Responsibilities As a Guest Services Representative you will ensure the most positive experience for visitors of the recreation facilities, enhancing the brand of these highly accessible community resources.
Your responsibilities include front‑line customer service: assisting patrons, answering calls, and taking program registrations. You will assist others in the department with administrative tasks, marketing support, programming assistance, and special events.

You will monitor facility user groups, assist with equipment needs, and coordinate meeting rooms and facility rentals. The role requires availability on weekdays during daytime hours (9 a.M. – 6 p.M.). As a guest services representative, you will deliver exceptional customer service to all customers including tourists, user groups, contractors, city staff, volunteers, and other community organizations. Set up and tear down for rentals Assist with departmental special events and promotion of events Assist with general administrative tasks and research Process payments and sales Assist with public safety and follow safe work practices Work independently with minimal to no supervision Be able to lift up to 50 pounds Qualifications High school diploma One year administrative experience One year customer‑service experience Competency in Microsoft Office programs Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and manage conflicting priorities Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Clean criminal record check Class 5 driver’s license; some travel between work sites will be required Valid first aid certification Hours The standard workweek consists of an average of 20 hours, with the specific schedule determined by the immediate supervisor. Compensation Salary range of $27.63 to $35.70 per hour as per the Out‑of‑Scope Agreement.
