Duties

- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and artistry
- Deliver excellent customer service by listening carefully to client preferences and offering professional recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Engage in retail sales by suggesting hair care products tailored to individual needs, boosting revenue and client satisfaction
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently




- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue
- Communicate clearly with clients about aftercare instructions and upcoming styling options to foster loyalty and repeat visits

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and explain styling options
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while prioritizing client satisfaction
- Previous experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by local regulations
