Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Signage Fabrication role based in Aurora, ON. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings or job tickets, preparing materials, and operating fabrication tools and equipment to produce interior signs to specification. Responsibilities include cutting, assembling, and finishing signage components, applying graphics or lettering, and ensuring accurate measurements, alignment, and quality control. The position also includes organizing workstations, maintaining tools, following safety procedures, and assisting with inventory of materials and hardware.



The individual will collaborate with design, production, and installation team members, communicate any issues or discrepancies, and contribute to meeting project timelines and standards.

Qualifications

- Experience with basic fabrication processes such as cutting, drilling, assembling, and finishing interior signage components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and work orders with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment in a secure, controlled manner, with knowledge of shop safety practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple jobs, prioritize tasks, and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with design, production, and installation staff.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and handle materials in a fabrication environment.
- Prior experience in signage, fabrication, woodworking, or a related trade is an asset.
- Operating a CNC, wide format printer, laminator & digital vinyl plotter is a must.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade training in fabrication or related fields is beneficial.
