This permanent, full-time Senior Accountant role serves private enterprise clients within Baker Tilly’s accounting and advisory practice. You will prepare assurance engagements, tax returns, and financial statements under ASPE. The position also emphasizes client communication, analysis, mentoring, and professional judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Review, Compilation, and White Paper engagements
- Prepare T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5 returns
- Assist with ASPE financial statements and note disclosures
- Analyze processes and recommend operational improvements
- Mentor junior staff through coaching and training
Requirements:
- CPA designation or completed Common Final Examination
- Three or more years in public practice Assurance and Tax
- Experience preparing T2, White Paper, Compilation, and Review files
- Robust analytical skills, judgment, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
