The Electrical Planner plays a key role in planning and coordinating electrical maintenance activities within our operations. This position is ideal for a motivated, mechanically inclined professional with strong electrical expertise who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule short-term and long-term maintenance activities, including routine downtime and major shutdowns, with a focus on minimizing breakdowns and meeting budget targets
• Prioritize work effectively to support equipment reliability and ensure accurate time and resource estimates
• Develop detailed work packages and maintenance plans for electrical jobs within the facility
• Collaborate with other planners and technical specialists to coordinate all related work orders within assigned areas
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of spare parts and consumables in coordination with stores
• Continuously improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and data integrity processes
• Provide regular reports on planning and scheduling activities
• Support emergency situations with troubleshooting and planning assistance




• Monitor CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) usage and provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement
• Coordinate, manage, and supervise contractors
• Develop maintenance and project budgets and estimates
• Ensure safety is integrated into all planning and execution processes, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Lead and participate in planning and scheduling meetings Qualifications &

Skills:
• Journeyperson Electrician Certification, Electrical Technologist Diploma or equivalent
• 3 + years of experience in Electrical Planning
• 3 + years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining electrical systems
• Experience working with a CMMS program
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working as a maintenance planner is considered an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
