About exo

The Metropolitan Transportation Network, known as “exo,” operates bus, on-demand, and paratransit services across the northern and southern suburbs of Montreal, as well as the commuter rail network throughout the Greater Montreal area. Its network serves the territory of the Montreal Metropolitan Community (CMM), which includes 82 municipalities, along with several municipalities located beyond its boundaries.

exo’s mission is to provide efficient, user-friendly transportation services. Its vision is to meet the evolving mobility needs of the communities it serves and to respond to growing demand by implementing flexible and personalized transportation solutions. With a multimodal offering and numerous mobility hubs, exo provides a broad platform for reimagining public transit, driven by two key strengths: innovation and collaboration.

exo also distinguishes itself through its outsourced operating model, leveraging the expertise of its partners for most of its operations. This approach extends to innovative mobility solutions, such as on-demand transportation, an area in which exo has developed strong expertise.
