St. Francis of Assisi Junior/Senior high school in Slave Lake, Alberta invites applications for the following: Full-Time 1.0 FTE Junior/Senior High Math/Science Teacher. beginning as soon as possible until June 29, 2027 The assignment will include both junior and senior high Science and Math as well some CTF/CTS/Careers courses. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications and experience in the following areas:
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Commitment to teaching in a school which permeates the Catholic Faith
- Commitment to enhancing and building a positive learning environment for all students
- Commitment to working in a team-oriented environment
- Planning and implementing Numeracy interventions
- Working with Indigenous and English Acquisition Learners
