Direct Horizontal Drilling is a leader in the Horizontal Directional Drilling business.

We are seeking an Apprentice/Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician for our shop in Acheson, AB.

Duties include (but not limited to):

- Service & Repair of Drilling Equipment;

- Service & Repair of Heavy Trucks and Trailers;

- Ability to Work Independently with Minimal Supervision;

- Occasional Field Service Calls;

- Other Duties as Assigned.

Requirements:

- *Minimum Clean Abstract: Class 5 License;

- Experience with On & Off Road Equipment;

- Knowledge of Drilling Rigs an asset.

- Safety Sensitive Position:

o Candidate must pass Fitness Medical as well as Drug and Alcohol Testing Requirements.

- Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm (weekend and evening overtime as required).

- Service calls and out of town work as required – majority of work allows home nightly. Steady year-round work.





- Drilling rig experience is an asset.

- mechanical: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
