Landscape & Snow Removal Crew Member

Build a year-round job with Emerald Lawns, a small, family-run landscaping and snow removal company in Calgary.

You’ll maintain commercial properties through the summer and help keep them clear and accessible through the winter. If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in a job done properly and want an opportunity to grow into a crew lead role, we’d like to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

- $20–$26 per hour, based on your experience and skills.

- A minimum of 60 paid hours per two-week pay period.

- Year-round work: commercial lawn maintenance in summer and snow removal in winter.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work with your crew to mow, trim, clear snow and manage ice on commercial properties. You’ll operate landscaping and snow removal equipment, look after company tools and vehicles, and leave each site ready for the people who use it.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Experience is an asset, but you don’t need a landscaping background to apply. We’re looking for someone who:

- Shows up reliably and works well with a crew.

- Takes pride in completing work carefully and safely.

- Holds a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence.





- Has their own vehicle to reach our Calgary office; diverse start times make transit unsuitable.

This role involves working outdoors in changing weather, prolonged walking, and physical tasks such as lifting, pushing and pulling. You must be able to perform these duties, with accommodation if needed.

KNOW THE SCHEDULE BEFORE YOU APPLY

Summer work generally runs Monday through Friday. Winter work depends on snowfall and includes early starts, snow-event shifts, nights and weekends. Start times vary with the weather.
