Job Summary

The Kitchen Hand/Cook supports smooth daily food service through careful food preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen upkeep. This hands-on role helps ensure meals are prepared and served safely, and that colleagues can keep service organized and responsive.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation and cooking according to daily needs.
- Serve meals courteously, support food service, and help keep service areas clean and orderly.
- Handle food safely, maintain tidy work surfaces, and follow established food safety practices.
- Coordinate with kitchen colleagues to keep tasks moving and respond to changing service needs.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling capabilities, with attention to cleanliness and food safety, are key for carrying out daily kitchen duties. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience can help you contribute confidently, support meal preparation, and work effectively with colleagues during busy service periods.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
