As a Kitchen/Culinary Clerk you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customers purchasing hot food items, ensuring that they have a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, ensuring proper food storage and handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Monitor inventory levels, rotate products, and ensure proper storage and handling of deli and food items
- Ensure all food items are presented with the highest level of quality and appearance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing guidance and answering inquiries about the food offerings.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's products, including ingredients, cooking requirements, and dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth Kitchen operations.
- Follow proper food handling procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

- Must have previous experience in a kitchen or food-based environment
- Knowledge of food storage temperatures.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills,



with the ability to interact with diverse customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
