Unique Landscape Services is hiring dependable and motivated Sidewalk Crew Leaders to join our snow and ice management team this winter.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for leading a crew of approximately 3–4 team members, operating a company truck and trailer, and ensuring commercial and condominium properties are cleared safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking charge, working alongside their crew, and responding when winter weather hits.

What You'll Do

- Lead and work alongside a sidewalk snow removal crew of approximately 3–4 people.
- Safely drive a company truck and tow a trailer between assigned properties.
- Coordinate snow clearing and salting operations at commercial and condominium properties.
- Operate snow blowers, shovels, sidewalk equipment, and other snow removal tools.
- Ensure sidewalks, walkways, entrances, stairs, and driveways are cleared to company standards.
- Monitor crew productivity, quality of work, and safe operating practices.
- Communicate with management regarding site conditions, equipment concerns, and completed work.
- Complete required service documentation and site reporting.

What You'll Bring

- Valid Ontario G driver's licence (required).




- Experience driving a pickup truck and towing a trailer (required).
- Previous snow removal, landscaping, or property maintenance experience preferred.
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience considered an asset.
- Confidence operating snow removal equipment and working outdoors in winter conditions.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently.

Schedule & Availability

Snow removal is weather-dependent, meaning there are no guaranteed hours or regular weekly schedule.

Successful candidates must be available to respond to snow and ice events throughout the winter, including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Crew Leaders report to our landscape yard before each shift to prepare their truck, trailer, equipment, and crew.
