Job Overview

Duties include but not limited to.

Responsible for the daily care, monitoring, and overall health and well-being of cattle. Duties include identifying, diagnosing, and treating sick or injured animals in both pens and pastures, processing cattle, assisting with calving, and monitoring livestock to ensure proper health and condition. Responsibilities also include daily feeding using a feed wagon, maintaining adequate mineral and water supplies, and building, inspecting, and repairing fences, including electric fencing. Additional duties may include operating farm equipment as required and assisting with general farm and ranch maintenance to support daily livestock operations. Season Field Work also will be required.

Qualifications

Prior cattle handling and care is required.

Required: Practical ability to handle heavy lifting, use hand and power tools safely, follow instructions, work as part of a team & independently without direct supervision.

Must have a Class 5 Divers Licenses or Higher.

Wages will be set depending on experience level.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
