Company Overview We're a local custom blinds and drapery business looking for a motivated inside sales rep to turn inquiries into booked jobs. This is a permanent part-time position with the chance to move into a full-time role. This Position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in helping customers find the perfect look for their home.
What you'll do
- Respond to walk-in customers, calls, emails, and online inquiries with a friendly, professional and helpful approach.
- Understand what customers need and recommend the right products and services
- Help customers compare options and find window-covering solutions that suit their home, preferences and budgets
- Prepare accurate quotes and sales proposals
- follow up thoughtfully and consistently on inquiries and outstanding quotes to win the job
- Build strong product knowledge so you can answer questions with confidence
What we're looking for
- 1+ years in inside sales, retail, or customer-facing work
- Confident on the phone, with a drive to close
- Organized, with strong follow-up habits and attention to detail
- clear, professional phone and email communication
- Home-improvement or window covering experience is an asset. Product-specific training will be provided to the right candidate
Compensation
- Based salary plus commissions
- Commission on closed sales, with top performers earning well above base
