The Fall yard maintenance and cleanup role helps prepare outdoor spaces for changing seasonal conditions. You’ll support landscape maintenance through practical cleanup, gardening, and upkeep, helping keep yards orderly, functional, and ready for the next season.
Responsibilities
- Explicit fallen leaves, branches, and other seasonal debris from yard and garden areas.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete cleanup and routine maintenance tasks safely and carefully.
- Assist with gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, including basic irrigation upkeep as needed.
- Support equipment and site tasks involving mechanical knowledge or excavator use when appropriate to the work.
Qualifications
Required: Practical ability to use hand tools and power tools, perform outdoor maintenance,
and complete yard cleanup with care and attention to detail. Preferred: Familiarity with gardening, horticulture, irrigation, landscape maintenance, mechanical tasks, excavators, or construction work is an advantage. Your impact: Your work helps keep outdoor areas clean, usable, and well maintained for the people who rely on them.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vernon, BC V1T 6W9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
