As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Welding experience is a plus but not required.
- A valid driver's license is essential for this position.
