Job Summary A new food and drink restaurant opening this May on the beautiful Steveston Fisherman's Wharf is building its server team.

We are currently hiring servers and will begin training prior to opening so the team is ready for a busy spring and summer season. Since we are building our team from the ground up, there are multiple server positions available.

Our restaurant features a large patio and lively atmosphere , and we expect a busy, fast-paced service environment , especially during the summer months.

Duties

- Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed to support kitchen staff
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas




- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow food safety protocols to maintain health standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Experience

- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred
- Knowledge of the food industry, including menu items and service procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Experience in serving, food handling, and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
- Background in hospitality or related fields is beneficial
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper hygiene practices

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
