About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in shaping and directing the financial and digital strategy in alignment with its objectives for First Nations health. The CFO will be responsible for the oversight of all financial and fiscal management aspects, including budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and risk management, ensuring that these elements support the organization's mission and services. In addition to financial responsibilities, the CFO will provide strategic direction in leading information management and information technology, critical functions that ensure the organization's data, digital health, and information security infrastructure deliver service excellence. The role also involves driving change management, streamlining operations, and fortifying the organization's financial and information infrastructure.



The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will have a solid track record in finance and technology leadership, with a focus on developing budgetary and IT strategies that meet the unique healthcare needs of Indigenous communities. They must be capable of navigating complex organizational landscapes, articulating a departmental vision that achieves consensus, and have a deep understanding of the healthcare and public service dynamics. The CFO will be expected to lead a sizable team, build robust relationships with internal teams, First Nation communities, and health system partners, and exemplify leadership that inspires trust, focus, and collaboration.
