About the position

- Responsible for greeting and providing courteous service to customers regarding their orders, returns and any other needs ;
- Performs data entry and information retrieval in various computer systems as needed;
- Ensures the smooth internal exchange of information related to customer orders primarily between the shipping counter and the freight forwarding department;
- Ensures that invoicing is accurate and done on a daily basis,
- Responsible for the administration of deposits and petty cash for the day involved;
- Generates and processes various reports, as well as performs various administrative tasks as requested by the supervisor;
- Responsible for performing administrative tasks related to deliveries for our internal and external trucks;
- Other related duties.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1-2 years prior experience in a similar role ;




- Prior experience with monetary transactions with customers, such as cash, debit or credit card payments and payment management ;
- Prior experience in an order desk environment with the ability to interact with customers in a skilled and courteous manner, even in stressful situations;
- Prior experience in shipping and logistics preferred;
- Prior experience with integrated order/inventory management software (ERP), preference for Epicor Prophet-21 (P-21) or similar ;
- Excellent understanding and experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software, with valuable ability to work with MS Excel.
