About Us SWS Boatworks is a busy, family-run marina serving cottagers and boating enthusiasts across Muskoka. We offer boat service, storage, rentals, and watersports—and our gas dock is one of the busiest touchpoints for our customers during the summer.
The Role
We’re looking for hardworking, friendly Gas Dock Attendants to join our summer team. You’ll be on the front lines helping customers fuel up, keeping the docks running smoothly, and delivering a outstanding experience on the water.
This is an active, outdoor role—perfect for someone who enjoys being on the water and staying busy.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely pump fuel and assist boats at the dock
- Operate the till and process payments
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Help clean boats (wiping down, basic cleaning)
- Assist with boat rentals (prep, check-in/out, basic instructions)
- Keep dock and fuel area clean and organized
- Support the team wherever needed during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual (this is critical in peak season)
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Boating experience is an asset, but not required
