Job Summary

BjornBar Bakery is looking for a reliable and skilled Morning Baker to join our early-morning production team. This role is essential to setting up the day, baking fresh pastries, dessert bars, and baked goods so the café is fully stocked and ready for service when doors open.

Responsibilities :

- Arrive on time and begin production at 4:00 AM :

- Bake and finish pastries, bars, and baked goods according to recipes and standards

- Prepare items for display and daily service

- Follow production lists and par levels

- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment

- Label, date, and store products correctly

- Communicate with the team about prep needs, shortages,



or issues

Requirements :

- Baking or pastry experience preferred (skilled or high-volume environment is an asset)

- Comfortable working early mornings starting at 4:00 AM :

- Ability to work independently and efficiently

- Strong attention to detail and consistency

- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)

- Morning shifts starting at 4:00 AM :

- 4-8 hours per shift

- Weekend availability is an asset
