Daytime Prep Assistant

Seeking a Daytime Preparation Assistant to aid in all aspects of the preparation of Kumon materials and Centre at the Kumon Danforth location.

This is a part time opportunity.

Mondays - 11:00 am-2:00 pm

Tuesdays - 11:00 am

- 2pm

Thursdays - 11:00 am -2:00pm

Applicants must:

- have well developed organization skills
- be able to handle multiple projects and tasks at once, with the ability to prioritize
- be attentive to detail and very precise with their work
- be dedicated and eager to learn the many procedures and practices of the centre
- be professional at all times

Daily tasks will include:

- Adjusting work for students who have missed classes and fulfill requests for vacation packages/special requests etc.
- Learning and using the Kumon Content Management System with precision and accuracy
- Preparing student folders with care, pulling the correct worksheets as per student’s individual Kumon homework organizer guide
- Precise data entry for student marks
- Marking of student homework booklets with accuracy and speed




- Filing materials such as folders, tests, paperwork etc
- Greeting clients and walk in inquiries, providing them with general information
- Ensuring centre is clean and tidy, this includes wiping down tables, cleaning the restroom, keeping materials organized, vacuuming, and anything else required to maintain a welcoming and clean environment for students and their families
- Planning for and preparing office orders for Kumon materials and stationery supplies
- Emptying orders (sometimes requires lifting boxes up to about 20 pounds)

We are also offering additional hours if applicant is interested (these hours are during class time, and job description would be different from above, and only discussed upon inquiry during the interview): Mondays

- 4:00pm -6:00 pm

Tuesdays and Thursday 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Saturdays 11 am

- 2:30 pm

Salary : $15.50-$16.00 per hour
