About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our small team for long-term employment. This is an prospect to learn the industrial parts business and develop into a proficient counter, telephone and email sales representative.
Industrial parts can take time to learn, so we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, asks questions, pays attention to detail and takes pride in providing good customer service. The position also involves some light warehouse duties, including pulling orders and preparing shipments.
Previous experience in the industrial parts industry is helpful but not essential. A positive attitude, reliability and a genuine desire to learn are more important.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the sales counter, over the phone and by email.
- Respond to customer enquiries and help identify the correct parts for their needs.
- Learn product lines, part numbers and industrial applications.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers and suppliers.
- Follow up on customer requests and sales enquiries.
- Pull stock and pick orders accurately.
