We're hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their learning, development, and curiosity through fun, meaningful activities. Is creative and hands-on: Comes up with fun activities such as arts and crafts, reading, music, sensory play, science experiments, outdoor adventures, and imaginative play. Is proactive and organized: Thinks ahead, prepares activities, and brings fresh ideas to keep our daughter engaged and learning. Is warm, patient, and nurturing: Builds a positive relationship with our daughter and creates an environment where she feels safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. Enjoys being active: Is happy to get outdoors, visit parks, explore the neighbourhood, and incorporate physical activity into the day. Is dependable and responsible: Someone we can build a trusting,



long-term relationship with. The Role Responsibilities would include: Planning and leading educational, creative, and play-based activities. Supporting our daughter's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development. Engaging in reading, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and other developmentally appropriate activities. Taking her on outings and outdoor adventures when appropriate. Helping with the transition from daycare and creating a fun, positive environment after school. Keeping activity materials and play areas tidy after use. Schedule & Flexibility We're looking for part-time help after daycare during the week, as well as some Saturday assistance. We're flexible on which weekdays and are happy to discuss the schedule and total hours together with the right candidate. We'd love to find an arrangement that works well for both sides. Qualifications Previous experience working with toddlers or young children in an educational or childcare setting. Early Childhood Education (ECE) training or a background in early childhood development, education, or a related field would be a strong asset. A valid driver's licence and comfort driving our daughter when needed. The ability to work independently, use good judgment, and take ownership of planning activities.
