We are seeking a full time employee to provide maternity leave coverage. Completion of post-secondary training or equivalent in Accounting or Business Administration preferred. Familiarity with accounting concepts. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Accounts receivable invoicing Perform customer invoice generation for assigned locations. Perform sales three-way match when processing customer invoices, ensuring compliance to internal control processes. Collections Research, escape and resolve any ‘past due items’ identified from aged accounts reports. Make outgoing and answer incoming customer calls & inquiries to collect outstanding balances. Print/Mail/Email/Fax invoices as required by customers. Accounts payable Review and verify supplier invoices for payment within the agreed terms. Post supplier invoices by matching Purchase order (PO) and GRN to invoices in compliance with Company's internal control policy. Accounting Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and other various ad hoc financial reports, including supporting working papers, documentation, and account reconciliations. Prepare and record routine accounting transactions and journal entries Assist the finance team with other tasks and projects as requested Over a century ago,
