As a Dietary Aide you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a secure and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day. Assist with the preparation of meals,



and serving meals Follow residents' diets and food preferences Take the menu orders from the residents Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques Have a valid Secure Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff You may bring experiencein food servicefrom institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality While possessing a Food Service Worker Certificate would be excellent, it’s not a requirement You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this position Sienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
