Support seniors at Airdrie Community as a Health Care Aide, providing compassionate daily living assistance and resident-centered care in Alberta. Build respectful relationships with residents and families while supporting comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Reporting to a Wellness Manager, you will contribute to the Long Term Care team at Airdrie Community. The position focuses on resident supervision, activities of daily living, communication, mobility support, and emotional well-being. You will also encourage participation in individual and group programs offered by the Resident Experience Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise residents and provide assistance with daily activities
- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to care plans
- Encourage use of glasses, hearing aides, and sensory aids




- Maintain access to canes, walkers, call bells, and assistive devices
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support

Requirements:

- Completion of an approved college Health Care Aide program
- Compassion and dedication to supporting seniors
- Proficiency in straightforward treatment procedures and bedside care
- Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility
